linkedin group trainingLinkedIn Training: Showing off your professional side and how to use it effectively

Friday 24th September 2010

12.30pm

If you have joined Linkedin, but don’t know what to do next with it, then this is the virtual training session for you.

Rather than taking part in a webinar where you can’t talk to the presenter, the training is done via “Go to Meeting” in small groups allowing everyone to chat and ask questions, which gives another meaning to networking online. For those of you that have never used this method, it simply allows everyone taking part to see the presenters screen, and still interact verbally with the presenter and the others on the call, all from the comfort of your own office.

We will start off by introducing ourselves, a bit of networking, then we will get straight into the session.

We will run through:

  • Quick wins for your profile
  • What your summary should say
  • Adding applications for your business
  • Interacting with prospects
  • Taking part in discussions
  • Advanced search
  • Using Answers
  • Keeping in touch with your contacts
  • Personalizing templates
  • Recommendations and using them

This online training will run for about 1 hour and walk you through the many areas you may or may not know even existed and how to use them. This is a superb way to find out more about how to network online in a small group. All you need is a quiet place, internet connection, and your computer with audio. If you don't have audio, you can call in with your landline.

The investment is only $50
